2009 turned out to be a year of change for CatonPhoto.com. We put CatonPhoto.com on sabbatical and tried our hand at volunteering at national and international venues. We haven't stopped taking pictures! Photography has been a part of each volunteer experience, albeit a secondary one. 2010 finds us in the Southwest for the winter and spring continuing to volunteer for the National Park Service. We will be spending time at Canyon De Chelly National Monument, Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. There will also be short visits to Petrified Forest, Saguaro, and Organ Pipe Cactus National Parks.

Our focus is changing from commercial to stock and fine art imagery. Stock photos are generic images that are marketed and distributed on the internet. We are now affiliated with age fotostock (Spain), Alamy (UK), Dreamstime (US), Fotolia USA, and BigStockPhoto (US) stock distribution agencies. This summer, we will begin offering local sales of note cards printed wtih fine art images and will transition to on-line note card and print sales later in the year.
